Amaretto
Turbinado sugar provides a smooth taste
- 2 -1/2 cups water
- 1 cup Turbinado (Demerara) sugar
- heat until the sugar is dissolved
- cool to room temperature
- 2 Tbsp almond extract
- 1 Tbsp vanilla extract
- 8 oz 80 proof rum
makes right at 32 oz.
Kahlua

Demerara syrup
- 1 cup Demerara (Turbinado) sugar
- 1 cup water
- heat until dissolved
Kahlua recipe
- 2/3 cup fresh ground coffee
- 2 -1/2 cups water @ 180 degrees
- French Press, seep 4 minutes
- Add 2 cups of the coffee to the Demerara syrup
- 2 Tbsp Vanilla extract
- 1 cup rum
makes right at 32 oz.
